We’re stoked to launch Kickstart IPA, our very first collaboration beer, brewed with our good mates at Hudson Brewing. It’s a bold, classic West Coast IPA—piney, citrusy, dry, and unapologetically punchy. A beer built to kick things into gear.
The story behind it goes deeper than just hops and malt. When Fuel’s founder, Jay Neven, called on long-time mate Richard Hudson to chat about the next chapter of Fuel, the brewery floor in Bulimba was still out of action and the road ahead was anything but simple. Without missing a beat, Rich offered to give us a kickstart—jumping in to help brew something special while we work through the rebuild.
And just like that, Kickstart IPA was born—named for that generous spark, and the bond between two mates who share a love of motorcycles, beer, and lending a hand. Richard’s support helped navigate a tough moment, and we’re incredibly grateful to have him on the journey.
